This premier annual tournament being held from 23 rd to 28 April at New Delhi’s well known Sri Fort Indoor Stadium is organized by the Badminton Association of India and sanctioned by the Badminton World Federation .For its continued commitment to the game of badminton ,Yonex-Sunrise comes in again as both ,Main Sponsor and Title sponsor.

Offering a substantial prize purse of US $200,000,the tournament Players will,like in the past ,fight for five titles -Men’s Singles ,Women’s Singles ,Men’s Doubles,Women’s Doubles,and Mixed Doubles. In addition to the cash prize, medals will be given to the runners -up.

The Yonex-Sunrise Open,one of the most prominent badminton events hosted in India,features most of the top badminton players from around the world.Topping the list are Saina Nehwal,P Kashyap,Guru Sai Dutt and P V Sindhu the current stars follow the legacy of India’s world class Nandu Natekar,Prakash Padukone,P Gpoichand, and Madhu Bisht.
