CM Sheila to inaugurate India’s first Gem & Jewellery Fair

First India Gem and Jewellery Fair, an initiative of
ITPO in association with Gem & Jewellery Export Promotion Council,
will be inaugurated by Delhi Chief Minister Sheila Dikshit on April 12
at Pragati Maidan, New Delhi. Four day exposition with 200 prominent gem
and jewellery companies would cover over 6700 sq mtr area in Hall no
12, 12A, prestigious venue with a wide range of designer products,brand
Ambassadors and fashion shows scheduled to be held alongside the fair
from april 12 to 15 April,2013 would spices the event.
India’s gem and jewellery industry is bright star of
the economy,adding to country export led growth with massive domestic
demand . Gems and jewellery art,design and its manufacturing tech has
its tale to disclose the rich heritage of India’s growth since epic to
this date.Not only women folk but men are too found of jewellery to add
to their look or because of astrological reasons. Thus jewellery finds
an important place in our society and this fair to exhibit and fetch
industry inherent rich tradition and modern values for the society at
large to enjoy their marvel elements in style.
