OVERWHELMING RESPONSE TO DELHI  FUKUOKA FRIENDSHIP AGREEMENT ANNIVERSARY CELEBRATION

                       
                          The 5th anniversary celebration of the Friendship Agreement between Fukuoka and Delhi at Taj Mahal Hotel , Delhi, was a grand affair with His excellency Hiroshi Ogawa, Honorable Governor of Fukuoka in attendance. Among the other distinguished dignitaries present were Kunihiro Matsumoto, Chairman of Fukuoka Prefectural Assembly and Kensei Haraguchi, Member of Fukuoka Prefectural Assembly and Acting Chairman of Liberal Democratic Party Kengidan. Tokuji Tomita, Member of Fukuoka Prefectural Assembly and acting Chairman of Democratic Prefectural Policy Club and Satoshi Kozaki, Member of Fukuoka Prefectural Assembly and Acting Chairman of the Friends of the Earth party were also in great spirits on this occasion.

                    His Excellency, Hiroshi Ogawa expressed confidence that the friendship agreement would indeed go a long way in further strengthening the trade and cultural ties between Fukuoka and Delhi. He expressed his sheer delight for having the opportunity to visit India and Indians again and expressed the hope that the friendship agreement would provide the much needed platform and support structure for Indian and Japanese entrepreneurs

           
                            The two hour long programme was anchored and moderated by Viveck Shettyy, Managing Director , Indus Communications. Nearly 6 top companies from Japan exhibited their products and services and received an overwhelming response from the audience. P B systems Inc was applauded for its next generation 4D technology which facilitates a 360 degrees object rotation along with a 3d view. Yasukawa Robotics which specializes in motion control, robotics and system engineering had the complete attention of the audience as they dwelled on length on their latest cutting edge technology and products. Map databasing experience was at its very best with Zenrin Co, Ltd and Towa corporation gave a very fascinating insight to their wide variety of rubber gloves and their multiple usages. Tokuden Co ltd was quality personified for welding materials especially the top plate and E.I.M. Electric Co, a specialist in submersible pumps and motors offered over 500 customised products , much to the delight of the audience.


                             The only non profit organisation at this exclusive gathering was Ruby which unveiled its latest softwares. Eager visitors flooded the exhibition stalls and posed all kinds of queries to the ever warm and patient Japanese entrepreneurs. Profit sharing Partnerships to distribution to exchange of ideas, this event had it all.
