FICCI Business Delegation to Turkey

Seminar, Buyer Seller Meet & Industry Visit

We are delighted to inform you that Federation of Indian Chambers of Commerce & Industry (FICCI) in association with West Mediterranean Development Agency (BAKA),Izmir Development Agency, India-Turkey Business Association, Turkish Confederation of Businessmen and Industrialists (TUSKON) and Indian Embassy is mounting a multi-sectoral business delegation to Antalya, Izmir and Istanbul, Turkey from  7-14 April, 2012.

As you are aware, The bilateral trade volume between Turkey and India has grown more than six-fold between 2002 and 2010, increasing from 637 million to 4 billion $.

The major items of India’s exports to Turkey include Cotton Yarn, Synthetic Yarn, Organic Dyes, Organic Chemicals, Denim, Steel (Bars and Rods), Granite, Antibiotics, Carpets, Unwrought Zinc, Sesame Seed, Mobile Handsets, Clothing & Apparel, Medicinal & Pharmaceutical Products, Petroleum Oils, Motor Vehicles, Iron & Steel, Textile Fibers, Coloring Materials etc.

Turkey’s exports to India includes Agriculture ( Seed), Marbels, Iron & Steel Products, Oil-Seeds, Crude Fertilizers, Textile Yarn & Machinery, Carpets, Metal Ores, Automobile & Minerals Manufactures etc.

The visit would entail in-depth business interactions with Turkish representatives having business interests in focus sectors namely: Mining & Minerals, Marble ,Agriculture ( Fruits & Vegetables, Organic Farming, Agricultural machinery, Seed) ,Construction ,Food & Beverages(Dairy Products, Beverages, Wines, Natural water),  Cosmetic Products ,Textile ( Yarn, Cotton, Fabrics, Handloom Products),Furniture ,Renewable Energy(Solar Energy, Biomass & Biogas), Chemicals, Iron & Steel, Fertilizers, Carpet etc.

In view of the business opportunities offered by Turkey and your business interests in the region, may I request you to participate in this important event delegation to Turkey. In case you are preoccupied, you may please depute a senior representative from your organisation for the same.
 
To defray a part of the expenses such as printing of who’s who, communication expenses, etc. incurred in connection with organising the visit, a delegation fee of INR 35,000/- per delegate is being charged.
