FICCI Health Insurance Conference 2012
“Getting Behind the Numbers”
December 10, 2012
FICCI
New Delhi
We are pleased to inform you that FICCI is organizing the 5th edition of its annual Health Insurance Conference on the theme “Getting Behind the Numbers” which will highlight the importance of data analytics in the rapidly evolving health insurance sector. The conference is scheduled for December 10, 2012, at FICCI, Federation House, New Delhi.
Currently, most Indian healthcare organizations are data poor or lack sufficient analytics capabilities to make sense of the data. Gathering and collating business intelligence is likely to become a key enabler for providing better quality service and improving insurance penetration. The conference will provide an effective forum to discuss ideas on how data analytics can be used by the various stakeholders to achieve a number of objectives which are central to the growth and expansion of the sector. The deliberations will cover topical issues like Health Insurance Fraud, Quality of Service Delivery, New frontiers in data analytics: Innovation and emerging platform and driving product design and customer segmentation.
Mr. J. Hari Narayan, Chairman IRDA, shall be the Chief Guest and be accompanied by distinguished speakers from India and abroad. The conference is supported by World Bank and General Insurance Council (GIC) and shall see participation from the whole spectrum of health insurance stakeholders including insurers, health providers, TPAs and intermediaries. Besides the deliberations, the conference shall also serve as a platform for the release of the Knowledge Paper which shall be based upon the central theme of the conference.
We are also happy to share that the standardization initiatives being pursued by FICCI since 2009 would now form part of the proposed health insurance guidelines of the IRDA and the same shall be disseminated during the conference.
We look forward to your participation in this Conference. Please refer to the enclosed copy of the Brochure for the program, registration and more details (click here to download).
