India signs $70 mn loan pact with WB for K’taka Health Systems Development, Reform Project



India has signed a 70-million Dollar loan agreement with the World Bank for additional financing of Karnataka Health Systems Development and Reform Project. The main objective of the project is to improve the health services delivery, public-private collaboration and financing for the benefit of underserved and vulnerable groups in Karnataka.

An official release said, the agreement was signed by Joint Secretary, Department of Economic Affairs, Prabodh Saxena and World Bank's India Operations Advisor, Michael Haney in New Delhi yesterday.
