9th Hospitality India and Explore the World Annual International Awards to honour and recognize Travel and & Tourism Sector.


On this occasion Suneet Kalra, Managing Director, Hospitality India & Explore the World, said that “I am quiet ecstatic with the success of our annual International Awards and tourism trade fair which aims to recognize the achievements and growth of hospitality and tourism sector. With our awards and exhibition we intend to captivate the attention towards Indian tourism sector and aim to put it on global platform. This concept of an elaborate award ceremony was founded by my father, late DL Kalra to redefine hospitality sector and take it to new heights. I am just taking my father’s dream forward and hope to make his dream bigger and bigger with each passing year.

Hospitality India, Explore the World and India: Yesterday, Today and tomorrow are three widely appreciated Travel and Tourism Trade magazines. These magazines under the guise of Late Shri DL Kalra and Mr. Suneet Kalra have reached great heights. Hospitality India started its journey 16 years ago and on the occasion of the completion of a decade, the publishing house instituted the Hospitality India and Explore the World Annual International award.

Apart from the honourable Ministers Shri TKA Nair (IAS Advisor to the Hon'ble Prime Minister of India), Sharmistha Mukherjee (Eminent Kathak Dancer), Shri Oscar Fernandes. (Hon. Minister for Road Transport & Highways) will also grace the occasion. 

This award ceremony is organised every year to honour the stars of the tourism sector. It is one of the biggest award show that is organised with a unique concept every year. The renowned faces and respectable ministers from the trade grace the event. With time the show has grown to such an extent that now it is not just confined to Hospitality sector but is also recognising the leaders in almost all sectors like education sector, real Estate, Hospitals, Hotels & Restaurants, Airlines etc. Hospitality India is taking an initiative to award these leaders in their own field with the trophy to encourage them and create awareness about them, which would lead our country on the path of success. 

Apart from the Award ceremony, India Tourism and travel trade fair is also organised by Hospitality India, which is one stop destination for all the travel related information under one roof. Several Tourism State Boards of India, Tour operators and Travel Agencies participate in the exhibition every year. Hospitality India has taken a step forward for the benefit of the travel & trade industry by organising an interactive session and presentations between the participants & people, which would be an excellent platform to discuss the growth and challenges of the Industry.
