Knowledge Society is instituted by Government of Gujarat to bridge the
gap between requirements of education system and industries. GKS aims to
prepare the youth for new knowledge based economy and society to
stimulate creation of world class knowledge resources by developing new
competencies and skills.
GKS is the brainchild of Chief Minister Shri Narendra Modi, GKS
will provide the youth of Gujarat with insight, knowledge and training
required by industries and is committed to guide them towards a bright
future.

Vibrant Gujarat Global Summit" will be held from January 11th to 13th,
2013 at Gandhinagar. Focus will be in the areas of Manufacturing,
Sustainable development, Innovation and knowledge, Service sector,
Renewable energy and technologies, Ports, shipbuilding, agri business
etc.
