National social activist Anna Hazare holds token fast for one day today
Sunday 25 March 2012 at Jantar Mantar New Delhi. Anna pursuits for
holding a day-long fast is especially for the cause for strong Lokpal
Bill and also for the
protection of whistle blowers to combat against corruption.
Arvind said from the rostrum of Anna's fifth fast in New Delhi dedicated to whistle blowers briefed the people and gathering that nearly twetny five persons are often killed un-noticed or laid their life to root out corruption for sake of good governance at high places in order to dismantle the mantle of the nefarious nexus that exits in the corridor of power at various levels these whistle-blower could have been protected
if government did agreed to strong Lokpal bill which provided necessary protection to the activists.
Anna team star Santosh Hegde, too was present along with other dignitaries Shanti Bhushan, Arvind Kejriwal, Kiran Bedi and Manish Sisodia.The issue taken up by Annas specially for IPS officer Narendra Kumar killed allegedly by mining mafia in Madhya Pradesh an en route to Lokpal and finally touring the nation to stir the peoples voice and creating awareness for the ensuing general elections as explained by Annas in his opening speech at Jantar Mantar is precisely the team Annas road map.
Anna Hazare on Sunday said," the government is insensitive to the voice of the people and not providing any support to the whistle blowers who are fighting for national evil.This government has no empathy towards its people." He further added that there will be bigger protest which will be organized soon in days to come.
Most of the social engineering experts believe,the issue of combating corruptions is tough as it is deep rooted within us and in the society dues to its feudal structure which respects the people at higher hierarchy level for being insipid to their work and profession and those in process of delivering the actions are not respected in the society.
A society where officer gets paid higher for not working and those working or in actions paid very frugal or meager amount thus the corruption is bound to be boundless and border less..
