Indian colts leave for the 8^thJunior Asia Cup

New Delhi, November 10, 2015: The Indian Junior MenⳠHockey team left the country late last night to represent India at the 8^th Junior Asia Cup in Kuantan, Malaysia. The tournament which begins on the 14^th November 2015 will be played at the Wisma Belia Hockey Stadium in Kuantan, Malaysia. One of the elite Junior Asian tournaments, the 8^th Junior Asia Cup will see the top eight Asian hockey powerhouses playing for supremacy.

㗥 love the support we get in Malaysia and we are familiar with the climate and other conditions in the country. This is an advantage for us as the boys will need no extra time to acclimatise and we can get going with our work from the first day itself. The boys have been together for over two months now and that just adds to the comfort and performance standards. They operate as a team and will be collectively working towards favourable results. India is placed in Pool A with Malaysia, Japan and China. India opens their campaign against Japan on the 14^th November 2015, and IndiaⳠpast encounters against Japan has resulted in the formers favour. India is also fresh from their performance in the 5^th Sultan of Johor Cup in Malaysia last month where they won the Silver medal so that has added to the advantage of the Indian contingent.
