PRESS CLUB MUMBAI’S REDINK AWARDS
FOR EXCELLENCE IN JOURNALISM – 2014

LAST DATE FOR ENTRIES IS APRIL 15, 2014

The Press Club, Mumbai had invited entries for the prestigious National Redink Awards for Excellence in Journalism–2014. The Journalism Awards have been instituted to promote best practices among journalists and encourage good quality writing, fair play and high ethical standards. The last day for sending entries announced earlier was 15 March, 2014. There has been a steady stream of entries. However, Editors of various publications as well as journalists from all over the country have requested for more time to nominate stories and send in entries. It has therefore been decided to extend the last date of entry to 15 April, 2014 to allow more participation in the awards

In the fourth year now, the Redink Awards have been expanded and restructured this year to include important areas of writing like ‘human rights’ as well as to draw a distinction between ‘breaking news’ of the day from the more long-form investigative and analytical writing of the magazine variety.
