Greetings from FICCI!!!!
We are delighted to inform you that Martin O’ Malley, Governor of Maryland will be leading a business delegation to India in the first week of December, 2011. In honor of the visiting delegation, the Federation of Indian Chambers of Commerce (FICCI) and Meridian International Centre (MIC) is organizing an interaction of the industry leaders with the Governor, followed by networking luncheon for 100 member Business delegation. FICCI shall also sign a MOU with the Maryland DBED and announce the India-Maryland Center in MD, operated by FICCI.
The purpose of his visit is to increase Maryland-India trade and investment, through specific engagements and relationship-building with government, companies and major business groups.
The major areas of interest are Life Sciences, IT, Aerospace and Defense and Renewable Energy. The composition of the delegation is enclosed for your kind reference.

In view of the importance of this meeting, we invite you to join us on the occasion and participate in the life sciences session and lunch with the Maryland delegation thereafter. In case you are unable to attend due to prior commitments, we request you to nominate a senior official from your organization to participate in the meeting.
