Indian Smart Cities MAX Garbage Composting Water Harvesting

India Inc. of Manoj Ladwa organized an event on ‘Waste Management’ addressed by Environment Minister Prakash Javedekar.
The event was boycotted by Foreign Companies and Foreign Missions for Banning Their ‘Global Branded Food Products’ in India. Events in the absence of Pioneer Foreign Companies are reduced just Stupid Talk.
Minister talked of ‘No Food Wastage in Earlier Times’ – then Food Supply was limited, people were engaged in Hard Work walked tens of kilometers in Hot or Cold conditions and eat once or twice a day had big appetite – present generation is used to Air-conditioned life style, take Tea with Snacks several times a day between Breakfast, Lunch & Cocktails and Dinner, with choice of scores of foods, in fact each of family member has different choice of food.
Earlier leftover was Roti & Dal which was fed to the Cows common in most homes or in community. Refrigeration has made it possible to increase shelf life of foods to weeks in homes to months in Cold Storages and Freezers.
Farmer Minister didn’t tell us that in earlier times Crop Yields were low and at times 20% to 80% of Foods were Lost to Insects, Pests, Birds, Rats and Wild Animals before harvesting and post harvesting in storage.
Farmers in India have Minimized On Farm Wastages except for Natural Causes like Unseasonal Rains, Droughts & Floods.
Strangely even after some thousand such events across India, this event too missed out sessions to ‘Minimize Waste’ or ‘Maximizing Fresh Water Use.’
‘The Prime Minister said urban and rural development in our country should be complimentary. One way of doing this was to ensure waste water management in urban areas, so that the treated water could be returned to rural areas for irrigation. Similarly solid waste management could generate compost which could act as organic fertilizer for the surrounding rural areas.’ June25, 2015
Even PM is ‘MISLED ON WASTE’ – India waste over 70% of Fresh Water to sea in the absence of Storage Dams and Canals, 50% to 80% of Fresh Water Stored in Dams and released in to Canals are wasted and we use Hard Ground Water Containing Unsafe Levels of Chemicals and Heavy Metals.
All Our Foods ROT in Markets For A Day For Fruits & Vegetables to Weeks For FoodgrainsLosing On Nutrition & Value In ABSENCE of Storage, Processing & Packaging –
-- Mostly Raw Foods is Dispatched to Cities to Generate Mountains of Stinking Waste.
Indian’s Per Capita Food Consumption is Lowest in The World – BUT India Generates MAXIMUM Garbage Per Capita Or Food Waste.
Session on Ganga River Cleaning Was UNBEARABLE. GANGA Basin Has 100,000 MW Hydro Power, 500 BCM Water Resource and Require 25 mHac Flood Protection.
