Every newspaper is full of stories related to Weird Land Acquisition
policy notified recently. UPA-II government primarily Lost 2014
Elections because it did nothing to improve the earnings of 800m Rural
India and UPA Lame Duck land acquisition policy was KEY TO RURAL
PROSPRITY but Bogus Einstein Jairam Ramesh Bungled It is EVIDENT here.
800m Food Grain Farmers revenue is barely $52b [$200/tone x 260m
tones] and income just $25b net after deduction for input costs. This
is just $30 per capita.
Rural India presently is Educated contributes more than 60% of
Engineers, Doctors, Civil Servants and 95% for Armed Forces, Factory
& Skilled Workers.
50% already have land but are Not Allowed to SWITCH to Industry,
Services and Business due to POLICIES MADE WHEN VILLAGERS WERE
ILLITERATE before 1947.
Why Can’t A Qualified Farmer Cut Plots and Set Up SEZ or Factory Cluster?
Why can’t a Qualified Farmer Build ‘Housing Project’ or ‘Commercial
Building’ or ‘Hospital’ or ‘Shopping Mall’ or Just a Small Food
Processing Unit?
Why Can’t A Farmer SELL HIS LAND and Buy Some Factory or Business
without attracting Capital Gains Tax when Companies Buy & Sell without
Capital Gains Tax?
THIS IS MOST WEIRD OF ALL – A FARMER CAN SELL FARM LAND AT ONE PLACE
AND BUY AT ANOTHER PLACE WITHOUT CAPITAL GAIN TAX THUS LAND IS NOT
FREED.
Worst of All – GOI Doesn’t Quickly Takeover Shut Down Factories With
Ready Infrastructure In Which Public Funds Are Locked, Millions of
Factory Workers Are Without Work and Let Such Factories Be Acquired By
Suitable Promoter? Earlier it was reported a Rs.6.5 cr Factory Built
in 1965 would need Rs.200 crores of Capital Investment at a Green
Field Site.
Why can’t a Village Form a Company to BUILD Airport Project on their Land?
Why GOI needs more Land When Highways and Railways Lines have 150
Feet on either side are already under Indian Railways or Highway
Authorities?
Why can’t FARMERS/Village or Home Owners Install their own Solar Power?
It Is MOST STUPID to Let Some Tata or Bata through GOI acquire Land
Cheaply from Farmers, Then Install Solar Power Units that Sell Power
to Grid and Eventually Farmers Are Charged Rs.25 per unit when Long
Term Cost is not even Rs.1 per unit.
WORST OF GOVERNMENT OF INDIA BELIEVES CIVIL SERVANTS, INVENTORS,
ENGINEERS, MILITARY OFFICERS FROM VILLAGES ARE INTELLECTUALLY INFERIOR
TO TRADERS & MONEYLENDERS IN ESTABLISHING FACTORIES OR BUSINESSES!!!
Only Thing They Lack Are ‘Cheating, Forgery & Bribery Skills.’
