During a recently held press conference at Hotel Le Meridien , New Delhi , wrestling conquered its mark in the Asian sports arena. It was a moment of glory and pride as the occasion saw the presence of a distinguished personality and the man behind the success of wrestling internationally, Dr. Chang Kew Kim from Korea, President, Asian Associated Wrestling Council (AAWC) announced the appointment of Asia’s Vice-President for AAWC, bagging this momentous designation is Mr. Sunil Bedi, Chairman, JMD Group. Around 40 Sportsmen were honored with Prizes at the occasion.

On this prestigious occasion, Dr. Chang Kew Kim, Korea (President , Asian Associated Wrestling Council (AAWC) expressing his thoughts said , “  I am honoured to announce the name of Mr. Sunil Bedi , Chairman , JMD Group , for the post of Vice-President for AAWC . Wrestling over the years has gained incredible momentum and has evolved as a distinct sport, capturing every eye . Handing over the charge of Vice- President for Asia to Mr. Sunil Bedi makes me feel proud and I have a strong feeling that he will leave no stone unturned to take wrestling to unmatched heights”.

After being appointed as the Vice-President for Asian Associated Wrestling Council (AAWC) for Asia, Mr. Sunil Bedi, Chairman, JMD Group said, “Coming together is a beginning, keeping together is progress, working together is success.
