LEO VARADKAR ELECTED LEADER FINE GAEL PARTY.

Indian-Origin Irish PM-Elect Leo Varadkar's Family In Mumbai Ecstatic Over His Victory
Leo Varadkar is set to become the Republic of Ireland’s next Prime Minister after winning the leadership of the Fine Gael party. The 38-year-old will become the first gay Prime Minister and will also be the country’s youngest ever leader.
Mr Varadkar beat his rival, Housing Minister Simon Coveney, with 60 per cent of the votes to lead Fine Gael – the biggest party in the coalition government. He will succeed Enda Kenny as leader of the centre-right party within weeks.
Leo Varadkar, minister for social protection, was elected on Friday as leader of Ireland’s Fine Gael, the country’s biggest political party.
Varadkar secured 60 percent of the total weighted vote in the contest while his only rival Simon Coveney, minister for housing, planning, community and local government, only took 40 percent.
Varadkar will succeed Enda Kenny, who has been taoiseach (prime minister) since 2011 and leader of the ruling party since 2002.
In mid May, Kenny retired as leader of Fine Gael under pressure from both inside and outside of the party.
In a statement after Varadkar’s victory, Kenny congratulated his successor as leader of Fine Gael, saying that he wanted to extend his “heartiest” congratulations to Varadkar.
“This is a tremendous honor for him and I know he will devote his life to improving the lives of people across our country. He will have my full support in the work that lies ahead,” Kenny said.
The current taoiseach said he will now provide a “brief but appropriate” period for Varadkar to form a new government.
Varadkar,  delivering his victory speech, said he was honored to be elected as party leader. He said it is the start of a more democratic, more engaged and more inclusive Fine Gael party.
Earlier, his only rival Coveney pledged full support to the new party leader. Coveney said Varadkar was a worthy winner of the contest and that he would work side by side with him to do everything he could to help the new leader.
Born on Jan. 18, 1979 in Dublin, Varadkar is the youngest child and only son of an Indian immigrant father and an Irish mother.
The young Dubliner was 22 when he entered Irish politics. At 27, he was elected to parliament.
Varadkar will become the youngest taoiseach in the history of the country at 38.
The Dail Eireann, the lower house of the Irish parliament, must now vote to ratify Varadkar, a move that is expected to take place within the next fortnight.

Home Minister Rajnath Singh today assured that government will put an end to Pakistan-sponsored terrorism and ensure peace in Jammu and Kashmir.
Addressing a press conference in New Delhi on the achievements of his Ministry during last three years, Mr Singh said, 368 terrorists were killed between 2014 and 2017. He said, the incidents of infiltration from Pakistan have come down by 45 per cent after surgical strike in September last year.
The Minister said 10,000 Special Police Officers have been sanctioned for the state. He also said that he does not wish to see stones in hands of the Valley’s youth and 2000 crore rupees have been approved for more than 36,000 displaced families in the state.

Mr Singh said, National Policy and Action Plan was launched to tackle Left-Wing Extremism and Centre has adopted the doctrine of SAMADHAN to counter the menace.
Centre is expediting the process of infrastructure development in Left Wing Extremism affected areas. He said, banks, medical colleges, and airports have come up in Left Wing Extremism affected areas and 2187 mobile towers have been erected.

National Investigation Agency, NIA today carried out searches at 23 locations in Kashmir, Delhi and Haryana in connection with terror funding in the Kashmir Valley.
The NIA, which had earlier registered a Preliminary Enquiry, converted it into a regular case last evening and began searches in the wee hours.
An official source said, around eight hawala dealers and traders in the national capital were raided, besides two in Sonepat, Haryana.
Among those raided by the NIA in Srinagar were Altaf Fantoosh, the son-in-law of hardline leader Syed Ali Shah Geelani, and some second rung separatist leaders belonging to Hurriyat Conference and the Jammu Kashmir Liberation Front. The agency seized nearly 1.5 crore rupees from various locations in the Kashmir Valley, besides documents which were being scrutinised.
Our correspondent reports, this is for the first time since early 1990s that a central probe agency has carried out raids in connection with terror funding to separatists.
The raids follow questioning of three separatists – Nayeem Khan, Farooq Ahmed Dar alias ‘Bitta Karate’ and Gazi Javed Baba of Tehreek-e-Hurriyat, in the national capital last month.
During a sting operation, Nayeem Khan was seen purportedly confessing to receiving money from Pakistan-based terror groups.
CBI has arrested a Lieutenant Colonel and a middleman in connection with an alleged transfer racket at the Army headquarter in New Delhi in which army officers paid lakhs of rupees to manipulate their postings.
Official sources said, the agency arrested the two while an alleged bribe of two lakh rupees was changing hands for transfer of a Bengaluru based army officer.
The agency busted the racket involving senior Army officers posted at its headquarters in Delhi. Sources say, they were allegedly giving choice postings for “huge illegal gratification” which ran into lakhs for a single transfer.
The case has been registered against Lieutenant Colonel Ranganathan Suvramani Moni, Hyderabad- based army officer Purshottam, Bengaluru-based barracks and stores officer S. Subhas and alleged middleman Gaurav Kohli.
CBI sources say some more senior officers are suspected to be involved in the case. The agency FIR allege that the bribe was being paid through hawala channels.
The bureau is focusing on how the army officers were ready to pay lakhs of rupees to get a posting of their choice.

INDIA THE FASTEST GROWING MAJOR ECONOMY: ARVIND PANAGARIYA

img_6471
GDP growth is fashionable term in economy to highlights the achievements of the nation.Globally disparities have widened to such an extend that those with  static income or lower income is unable to cope with day to day needs whereas those in race of grace of system are loaded with surge in purse hike thus enjoy the fruits of economy of inflation. US, Britain, France German along with majority of the nations reel under the burden inflated growth for frugal percentage of people in the nation and rest crawl to survive. With technology taking roller coaster drive unemployment is on rise  7 millions per year and another 10 millions each years get prepared to seek employment and the present government which offered for than 10 millions employment finds its self in midst of sea unable to navigate to clear this growing disparities thus exodus of brains to foreign lands for better perspective is still in vogue as our currency gets depleted each year and those enhancing in its value find the professional safe heaven to undertake work. The Governance across the globe finds close to national treasury  thus finds its institutional loquacious eloquence of sweet fantastic dreams for masses and windfall amenities, power, funds of immense value at their feet. We therefore find the positive and calculus mantras from those at helm of affairs without telling tale of government actions on people getting unemployment, underemployment those in line to seek employment.

NITI Aayog Vice Chairman Arvind Panagariya said today that India will regain the crown of the fastest growing major economy, overtaking China, as early as the first quarter of 2017-18.
Talking to news agency, Mr Panagariya said India, on an annual basis, is ahead of China and will regain the growth momentum soon on the back of host of reforms initiated by the Narendra Modi Modi government.
India lost the tag to China in the March quarter with the GDP growth slipping to 6.1 per cent. China recorded a growth rate of 6.9 per cent during the January-March quarter.
However, on an annual basis, India grew by 7.1 per cent in 2016-17.
Mr Panagariya further said that the growth will rebound in the current fiscal at a minimum of 7.5 per cent and accelerate further in the coming years. He said government has taken lots of reform measures and country will get to the 8 per cent growth trajectory in the next two years.

SUNEEL DARSHAN UNRAVELS THE MUSICAL JOURNEY OF EK HASEENA THI EK DEEWANA THA!

With music being the soul of Suneel Darshan’s Ek Haseena Thi Ek Deewana Tha (EHTEDT), the challenging task for the filmmaker of the romantic mystery was to create an album justifying the movie theme.

While it took the veteran filmmaker almost five months to finalise the songs of his film, it’s the journey and his association with the music maestro Nadeem (of Nadeem-Shravan fame) that has been a memorable journey.

Suneel Darshan recollects, “When I decided to make EHTEDT and collaborate with Nadeem on the project, I wanted to lock the film’s music and songs before going into the stage of pre-production. After sending him the script and situations, I set up an appointment with Nadeem in Dubai and when I was there, he was ready with his plethora of compositions. He had a variety of songs for each situation. He sang the songs to me and I selected the ones I liked.”

“Once the music and songs fell in place, we came back to India with the rough format of 5 songs. Then we employed music arrangers here and they set up the musical arrangements and the tunes were recorded. The basic strength of Nadeem’s melody had to be retained and at the same time I had to take the music forward to 2017. So we blended it in such a way that we had strong melodies and contemporary orchestration happening,” he adds.

Suneel has previously worked with Nadeem in several musical hits including Ek Rishta: The Bond of Love, Haan Maine Bhi Pyaar Kiya, Andaaz, Barsaat, Dosti, Mere Jeevan Sathi and EHTEDT mark their seventh project together.  “The lingering ability of the title track was so strong that after I finished shooting the movie, I came back and recorded one more version of the song, which was more of the Coke Studio kind of a format,” he recollects.

Most of our leaders said in an opportunity of such challenges lies greater opportunity of unemployed and underemployed youth to big business in case the undermentioned challenges are properly planned and systematically  hlped to build support companies cluster to weed out carbon and bring grenn technology in palce. Nksagar commented .
Gregarious eloquence at its best let down India everywhere but this time it was Washington – US President in rejecting Paris Agreement was most CRITICAL of India who wanted $100b to $450b annually to Clean Up Dirty Plants and invest in Green Energy Program.
IPR issues may be next on US President’s Agenda.
I was extremely Critical of Prakash Javdekar led Climate Commitment based on most LUNATIC Assumptions guided by Extreme Dullard Sunita Narayan to seek Doubling of Coal Burning by 2030 and in doing so demanding $100b to $450b annual AID for Economies in Transition – India biggest country to benefit from it.
While USA estimated Economic Loss for Continuing With Paris Deal at $3000b annual GDP & 6.5m Lobs and $7000 household Income Loss– which is correct considering US shall be importing Finished Goods than manufacturing within, INDIA didn’t mention any ECONOMIC LOSS of DOUBLING COAL PRODUCTION, COAL POWER & EMISSIONS – COULD BE 50% of GDP. India’s Energy Expenditure is already more could be many times more than Household Expenditure.
1.      India has over 200,000 MW Hydro Potential in Himalayas alone – Multi-purpose Dams could provide 800 BU of Power for say 200-500 years, Supply 500 BCM of CLEAN WATER for Irrigation, Urban Use, Flood Protection for 30 million hectares.
2.      Transmission Losses exceed 23% to around 30%,
3.      Irrigation Tube-wells consume 20% of Power,
4.      No Efficient WOOD BURNING STOVES, FOODPROCESSING to Cut Emissions.
5.      There is 30% plus Energy Efficiency opportunity.  – Little Progress.
6.      200 million tons of Urban Garbage – 80% can be avoided just by DRESSING UP & PACKAGING in village itself.
7.      160m tones AVOIDED WASTE to Minimize LANDFILL DUMPING, METHANE Emissions.
8.      160m Tons of waste could be FREE FODDAR to Cattle Feed, increase Milk & Meat production.
9.      100,000 MW of Nuclear Power is Clean Option – N-Reactors PLWR have 39% Thermal Efficiency compared to 25% of PHWR – Huge advantage in Safety & Efficiency – Coastal units can produce ‘DE-SALINATED WATER’.
10.Rooftop Solar has 3 Times more ADVANTAGE than Mega Solar Parks.
11.Electric Transport – Railways – Very Little Progress.
12.Local Food Production to Minimize Transportation.
My PIL in NGT on October19, 2015 was not admitted which is attached.
IMPORTANT CLIPPINGS – Full Text also attached
In 2015, the United Nations, departing top climate officials, reportedly described the $100 billion per year as “peanuts.” And stated that the $100 billion is the tail that wags the dog. In 2015, the green climate fund’s executive director reportedly stated that estimated funding needed would increase to $450 billion per year after 2020, and nobody even knows where the money is going to. Nobody’s been able to say where is it going to.

China will be allowed to build hundreds of additional coal plants. So, we can’t build the plants, but they can, according to this agreement. India will be allowed to double its coal production by 2020. Think of it. India can double their coal production. We’re supposed to get rid of ours. Even Europe is allowed to continue construction of coal plants.

In short, the agreement doesn’t eliminate coal jobs. It just transfers those jobs out of America and the United States, and ships them to foreign countries. This agreement is less about the climate and more about other countries gaining a financial advantage over the United States.

For example, under the agreement, China will be able to increase these emissions by a staggering number of years, 13. They can do whatever they want for 13 years. Not us.
India makes its participation contingent on receiving billions and billions and billions of dollars in foreign aid from developed countries. There are many other examples. But the bottom line is that the Paris Accord is very unfair at the highest level to the United States.

The cost to the economy at this time would be close to $3 trillion in lost GDP and 6.5 million industrial jobs, while households would have $7,000 less income, and in many cases, much worse than that.

UN MIGRATION AGENCY SEEKS FUNDING FOR DISPLACEMENT SETTLEMENTS IN BANGLADESH HIT BY CYCLONE MORA

 bd20170602-1

Humanitarian Emergencies, Migration and Environment
Bangladesh – IOM, the UN Migration Agency, has launched an appeal for USD 3.7 million to help Rohingya migrants living in settlements in Bangladesh affected by Cyclone Mora. The storm hit the country’s coastline around Cox’s Bazar early on Tuesday.
The cyclone, which brought 117 km/h winds and heavy rain, tore into the makeshift settlements and host communities. The settlements house over 130,000 ethnic Rohingya, who are also known in Bangladesh as  Undocumented Myanmar Nationals (UMNs).
The storm destroyed 25 per cent of shelters and left as many as 80 per cent damaged. Food and fuel supplies were destroyed, electricity lines were cut, and health and sanitation infrastructure was also badly damaged.
The IOM appeal, which aims to help up to 80,000 people in the makeshift settlements and host communities between now and year end, will target health, water, sanitation, shelter and protection.
IOM emergency response staff working in the settlements say that repairs to water and sanitation facilities are a top health priority. The storm knocked out 243 latrines, as well as tube wells that desperately poor residents depend on for clean water.
Shelter and non-food relief items, including plastic sheeting, mosquito nets and blankets, are urgently needed for the estimated 17,000 families who lost their homes.
Infrastructure, including water and sanitation, has come under increasing strain in Cox’s Bazar in recent months. Since violence erupted in Myanmar’s Northern Rakhine State in October 2016, over 75,000 UMNs have crossed the border to seek safety in Bangladesh.
Most of the affected are now living in makeshift settlements around Cox’s Bazar, where IOM provides site management and coordinates the work of other aid agencies in three settlements housing 103,000 people.
The UN Migration Agency, which has worked with Undocumented Myanmar Nationals and host communities in Cox’s Bazar since 2014, also provides water, sanitation assistance, shelter, healthcare and protection from gender-based violence in the three settlements.

SECRETARY MINES ARUN KUMAR CHAIRS CCEC MEETING OF 17 MAJOR MINERAL STATES

71 Major Mineral Blocks in Pipeline for E-Auctioning in Seven States during 2017-18
New Delhi: June 02, 2017
Jyaistha 12, Saka 1939
The Secretary Mines Shri Arun Kumar chaired a meeting of the Coordination- Cum- Empowered Committee (CCEC) of the major mineral producing states in New Delhi today. Representatives from seventeen states were present in the meeting. The discussion mainly focussed on the states’ preparedness for e-auction of mineral blocks for 2017-18. The seven states informed the Secretary Mines, that as many as 71 blocks have been identified for e-auctioning during the remaining part of year 2017-18.
These blocks include 6 blocks (2 Gold, 4 cement grade Limestone) in Andhra Pradesh, 11 blocks (4 Bauxite, 7 Limestone) in Chhattisgarh, 12 blocks (3 Bauxite, 9 Limestone) in Gujarat, 9 blocks (1 Bauxite, 3 Limestone,1 Gold, 1 Graphite, 2 Emerald, 1 Iron Ore) in Jharkhand, 18 blocks (4 Bauxite, 7 Limestone,1 Gold, 1 Graphite, 2 Manganese, 2 Iron Ore, 2 Copper) in Maharashtra, 7 blocks (1 Limestone,1 Graphite, 5 Iron Ore) in Odisha and 8 blocks (7 Limestone, 1 Copper) in Rajasthan.
The Secretary Mines Shri Arun Kumar addressing the CCEC meeting, asked the States to expedite and monitor the auctions, as recently a large number of leases have elapsed due to the section 10A(2)(c) of the Mines and Minerals (Development & Regulation) Act 1957, which should now come up for auction route only. He further said that as a large number of merchant mining leases will come up for auction on 31.3.2020, the States need to prepare their plans in advance latest by September this year and share it with Mines Ministry so that production slack can be met and the supply of essential minerals and iron ore remain smooth. He said, the auctions conducted so far will fetch Rs. 85250 crores to States of which the additional contribution due to auction is Rs. 67,501 crores over the licence period of 50 years. Just 4 States constitute 90 % of this takeaway and other states need to expedite their mining auctions.
The CCEC meeting also discussed other key issues of the mining sector like Minor Mineral Rules, Status of project implementation under Pradhan Mantri Khanij Kshetra Kalyan Yojana (PMKKKY) and the creation of District Mineral Foundation (DMF) after the MMDR Amendment Act with effect from 12 Jan 2015 to address the development goals of the people affected by mining. The meeting also reviewed the progress in Mining Tenement System (MTS) implementation, Mining Surveillance System (MSS), Star rating of mines, and the action plan for auctioning the mining leases expiring in March 2020.

CPR: “INITIATIVE ON CLIMATE ENERGY AND ENVIRONMENT”

June, 2017, 3:00 p.m., New Delhi
The Centre for Policy Research “Initiative on Climate Energy and Environment” shares the following comments on President Trump’s announcement of June 2017 announcing the US exit from the Paris Accord
“President Trump’s remarks reveal a disturbing lack of knowledge about the Paris Agreement. His contention that the Paris Agreement hamstrings the US while allowing India and China to increase their emissions is baffling. The Agreement allows every country to ‘nationally determine’ its contribution (NDC), and, it does not oblige them to achieve these. Trump’s tenuous grasp on the fundamental tenets of the Agreement he just rejected bodes poorly for any future engagement with the US on climate change.’ said Prof. Lavanya Rajamani, Professor at the Centre for Policy Research
“President Trump’s assertion that he will renegotiate a fair deal for the US is also perplexing,” she added. “The Paris Agreement is remarkable for the extent to which it privileges sovereignty and national autonomy. The perceived ‘unfairness’ Trump alludes to stems not from an internationally prescribed target – the Paris Agreement contains none – but a ‘nationally determined’ contribution chosen by the previous US administration of its own volition. Renegotiating an Agreement that has near-universal buy-in, especially to accommodate a state that has revealed a less than passing familiarity with the Paris Agreement, is not an option.”
“India, a country whose citizens consume less than a tenth the electricity of an average American, is already turning its economy toward clean energy,” said Navroz K. Dubash, a Senior Fellow at the Centre for Policy Research. “Mr Trump fundamentally misunderstands the changes sweeping the global energy economy, while India, despite being a much poorer country, is leading this change. By justifying the US exit from Paris in part by claiming that India will only act with international financial support, Mr. Trump is hiding behind India’s poor who, meanwhile, are already making the transition to clean energy that Mr. Trump scorns as unviable.”
“As a climate vulnerable country, India needs to stand with the EU and China to hold the line on the Paris Accord,” argued Dubash. “It is not for the world to adjust to America’s misguided policies, but for concerned Americans to forge a more sensible approach at home to the only climate treaty we have.”

New Delhi, 2nd June 2017The Academy of Oral Implantalogy (AOI) flagged off their 9thinternational conference on the ‘Digitally Integrated Implant Dentistry’ at Hotel Le Meridien, New Delhi today.

The conference spread over a period of three days will witness doctors from the specialty showcase methods of how these advanced procedures can go a long way in improving dental health and thereby lead to better overall health. Over the next two days, doctors from the specialty will showcase methods of how these advanced procedures can go a long way in improving dental health and thereby lead to better overall health.

Speaking on the theme of this year’s conference Dr. Ajay Sharma, Senior Consultant and Head Dept of Dental Sciences Max Smart Superspeciality Hospital, Saket, New Delhi, said “The aim of our conference this year is to integrate technology with dental procedures for precise, cost efficient, and time efficient outcomes. Digitally integrated implants should be made available to all dentally crippled people. We are also very hopeful that through this endeavor of ours, medical tourism in India will increase. By digitizing dental implants, patients traveling to India will have to incur fewer costs. Procedures that earlier took days to complete, can now be done within hours. Patients get dentally restored faster and go back home happy.”

The procedures and processes presented at the conference are evidence based and tested. Also aimed at providing reasonable and predictable treatment solutions to their patients, the congregation presents scientific papers brought out by young doctors. These scientific papers showcase what the future vision of the doctors is in dental Implantology.

Great advancements in dental surgery have been made to assist with bone and tissue regeneration so that when it is time to insert the implant, the extraction site has been stabilized and a graft performed to protect the integrity of the site. Patients no longer have to wait to replace their missing tooth – now the dental implant, post and dental crown can be set in just one visit. With immediate dental implants, you do not need to live with a gap in your teeth or wear a fake temporary cap while you wait for the dental implant to heal. And with single-visit dental implants becoming more successful, more patients are inquiring about this procedure.

Expanding on the concept of digital dentistry, Prof. (Dr.) Saranjit S Bhasin, Head at Faculty of Dentistry, Jamia Millia Islamia, New Delhi, said, “This technology will allow us to pre-plan all our surgeries. CT scans and 3D equipment will help us prepare dental implants to ensure same-day procedures through a virtual mock-up of the patients’ mouth, which eliminates cutting through the gums to find the bone. This eliminates the long period of healing and reduces follow-up visits as well. We have invested in the research and development of this concept and are dedicated to training dentists in this technology. As awareness and availability increases throughout the country, more and more patients will be able to opt for this procedure.”

The Academy of Oral Implantology (AOI) works towards advancement of science and art of oral implantology; to promote current innovative procedures in the field; to foster research and education.

About AOI
The Academy of Oral Implantology is a body that provides a platform for doctors to present their work on a common congregation. The AOI also provides an opportunity to implant companies to present their products to a common audience.

Artist Ekaterina Abramova
invites you to her event The Temple of my Art
“Whatever you love – you are.” — Rumi
Life is beautiful. And it becomes even more beautiful when you do what you love to do. I have three very important things that I need to have all the time: Love, Art, Nature.
To be alive I need love, to express my love I need art, to create art I need Nature. I believe all of us need these things in our lives.
I was traveling for being more with nature, nature always showing the way to yourself. Nature is the best teacher.
What are your three important things in your life? Let’s think and talk about it.
I would love to invite you again to the Temple of My Art, to my studio, on June 7, starting 7 pm.
And I believe for each of us Love will be one of the most important things in life. So let’s talk about it, let’s feel it and let’s see it. Let’s search for love. Let’s share love and speak about love.
I will wait for you with all my love to discuss love. Let’s share love, and not problems.
We can influence the world if we are in love with others and ourselves.
This event will be the first event as a discussion. Most of my works are dedicated to love and relationships. I am sending some of my new art works in this email.
Love comes first. And I would love to hear your ideas about the next topic. What can be the next event about?
