Fast and high scoring hockey on day 3 at the 6th Hockey India Sub Junior Women National Championship 2016 (A Division)
Ø  Hockey Punjab beats Hockey Chandigarh 10-2
Ø  Hockey Maharashtra wins 6-2 against Delhi Hockey
Ø   Hockey Jharkhand beat Hockey Patiala 21-0
Ø  Sports Authority of India beat Hockey Unit of Tamil Nadu 10-0
Ø  Hockey Odisha won 10-1 against Chhattisgarh Hockey 10-1
Ø  Hockey Haryana won Hockey Karnataka 10-0
Ø  Hockey Gangpur – Odisha beat Hockey Andhra Pradesh 14-1
Ø  Madhya Pradesh Hockey Academy defeated Uttar Pradesh Hockey 2-0

11th February, 2016, Rohtak: Day 3 6th Hockey India Sub Junior Women National Championship 2016 (A Division) saw fast, attacking and high scoring hockey being played by all the teams. In Pool A Hockey Punjab beat Hockey Chandigarh 10-2 and Hockey Maharashtra beat Delhi Hockey 6-2. In Pool B Hockey Jharkhand went passed Hockey Patiala 21-0 and Madhya Pradesh Hockey Academy defeated Uttar Pradesh Hockey 2-0. Pool C saw Sports Authority of India beat Hockey Unit of Tamil Nadu 10-0 and Hockey Odisha dominated Chhattisgarh Hockey 10-1. First match in Pool D for the day saw Hockey Haryana beating Hockey Karnataka 10-0 and the second match was won by Hockey Gangpur-Odisha by 14-1 against Hockey Andhra Pradesh.
In Pool A the first match of the day was played between Hockey Punjab and Hockey Chandigarh and the match was won by the former by a score line of 10-2. Hockey Punjab looked at its attacking best dominating from the first half. The first goalm came in the 14th minute from the stick of Kashish who went onto score 5 goals in the win. 
In another match in Pool A Hockey Maharashtra started the match on an attacking note scoring within five minutes of the start of the first half. Maharashtra scored 3 goals by 30thminute and Delhi faught back in the last five minutes of the half to come close 3-2. The second half was completely about Maharastra who scored 3 more goals to take the score to 6-2 by the end of the match. Rutuja Pisal scored 4 goals in the match.
 Pool B Hockey Jharkhand showed attacking domination at its best who went past Hockey Patiala without any problems 21-0. The match started with a goal in the 3rd minute with a goal Deepika Soreng and there was no looking back for them.  Deepika Soreng scored a hat-trick of goals and Captain of the team Sangita Kumari stunning nine goals to win the match for Hockey Jharkhand. The second match was hard fought battle between Madhya Pradesh Hockey Academy and Uttar Pradesh Hockey. One goal each was scored in both the halves. The first goal came in the 11th minute through Anamika Devi Thangjam in the 11thminute and second goal was scored in the second half in the 49th minute from Meena Chakra. Madhya Pradesh Hockey Academy held a strong defensive line to keep a clean sheet. The match ended at 2-0 in favour of Madhya Pradesh Hockey Academy.
 In Pool C a similar story continued where Hockey Odisha beat Chhattisgarh Hockey 10-1 to win the eastern derby. The first goal came in the 12th minute of the match for Odisha. The whole team pitched in with goals to make the win possible. Abinasi Mukti Surin and Bimla Barwa both completed their hat-tricks in win for Hockey Odisha.
In another Pool C encounter Sports Authority of India in yet another attacking master class beat Hockey Unit of Tamil Nadu 10-0. F. Lalawmpuii scored the first goal in the 7th minute of the match and scored two more field goals in the 33rd and 68th minute to complete her hat-trick. Hockey Unit of Tamil Nadu’s defense looked clueless in front of such attacking finesse.
 In Pool D Hockey Haryana continued their attacking flair by beating Hockey Karnataka 10-0 in their last group stage match. Hockey Haryana gave an outstanding performance by scoring 10 field goals in the match with Manju Chorsiya scoring a hat-trick and Dimple scoring a brace in the win for Haryana. Another Pool D clash saw Hockey Gangpur – Odisha at their attacking best with a 14-1 win over Hockey Andhra Pradesh. Hockey Gangpur – Odisha dominated the whole match with Jiwan Kishori Toppo scoring four goals in the win.
