Toronto bound MICE travellers in for a treat
Mumbai, December 03, 2014: For the forthcoming travel season, Toronto is giving MICE groups additional reasons to plan a trip to the city. Strengthening its infrastructure further, the city will introduce its visitors to exciting additions at existing attractions along with new hotels and restaurants to suit everyone’s taste buds!
With the following additions, MICE groups will have plenty of new options to explore and revel in:
Union Pearson Express (UP Express) will launch in spring 2015 by Metrolinx. On board, guests are offered an array of amenities including WiFi, power outlets for laptops, luggage racks, flight information and infotainment screens. Ripley’s Aquarium of Canada. The 12, 500 square-metre (135,000 square-feet) world-class family attraction has more than 5.7 million litres (1.5 million gallons) of water depicting marine and freshwater habitats from around the world and features more than 13,500 exotic sea and freshwater creatures. New this year is the Stingray Experience! The Visitor Centre at Historic Fort York just opened on September 18! Aga Khan Museum in Toronto is dedicated to presenting an overview of the artistic, intellectual and scientific contributions that Muslim civilizations have made to world heritage. The Museum’s Permanent Collection of over 1,000 objects includes masterpieces that reflect a broad range of artistic styles and materials.
The Delta Hotels and Resorts launched Toronto’s newest four-star hotel in the Southcore Financial Centre on November 27, 2014. This Delta Hotel has a 120-seat, street-level restaurant open for breakfast, lunch, dinner, and drinks as well as an 80-seat patio with southern exposure.
