African Union and France to send more troops to the Central African Republic to help end fighting there.

Media  reports say that at least 390 people have died in fierce clashes between rival forces in the capital, Bangui, since the beginning of the month.
Red Cross says the deteriorating situation has forced about 20,000 people to leave the city.

Responding to a UN Security Council resolution, France and the African Union are sending troops to the country.France announced on Saturday that it will increase its troops from the initially planned 1,200 to 1,600.African Union is doubling the number of soldiers it has sent to the country to about 6,000.
